The facelifted Tesla Model Y – codenamed ‘Juniper’ – has landed in Oz, making its Australian debut at the Everything Electric Show in Sydney. But while lots has changed on the outside, the new Y shares much of its predecessor’s core bits, which is a good thing considering it’s the best-selling EV in the world. Powertrain and battery tech has gone untouched, but improved aero is said to bring increased driving range, while refreshed tech inside the cabin should keep passengers happy. There’s lots to like; and even more so if Tesla gets the price right.
