The offer is now only available to buyers of inventory Model S and Model X vehicles in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Europe, and the Middle East. That means if you're custom-ordering a new Model S or X, you're out of luck for this incentive.

The free unlimited Supercharging perk, which was reintroduced back in February to boost lagging sales of Tesla’s premium lineup, comes after the company raised prices by $5,000 in the U.S. and $7,000 in Canada. In some European markets, like the U.K., inventory buyers also get free lifetime Premium Connectivity.

Unlike earlier versions, this Supercharging deal is no longer transferable between owners. It's only valid for the original buyer, which limits its resale value. For frequent Supercharger users planning to own their Tesla long-term, though, the savings can still add up over time.

Tesla hasn’t said when the offer ends, so if you're thinking about getting a Model S or X and want the perk, you may want to act fast.
