Tesla has quietly upgraded the Model Y with a new, more efficient battery pack that boosts range to 600 km (373 miles) without raising the price. The improvement applies to select versions sold in China and Europe, thanks to new CATL M3P or updated Panasonic cells. With zero fanfare, Tesla just made its best-selling EV even more compelling.
