Aw, Elon can’t sell his ugly dumpster cars. Anyway…
About 10,000 Cybertrucks — the world’s most expensive box on wheels — are currently sitting at Elon Musk’s Tesla dealerships. Fewer people are buying them: In Q1 of this year, only 6,400 of these aluminum monstrosities were sold. Which is still 6,400 more than probably should have been, but here we are.
Between the car’s negative reputation (the Cybertruck has been nicknamed the ‘Swasticar’ after Musk’s not-so-subtle Nazi salute earlier this year and his blatant white supremacist beliefs) and a long list of recalls, it’s no surprise fewer people are lining up to make such an expensive mistake.
