How Does Tesla Connect Its Batteries to Get 360V?
Take a look at the battery structure of the Tesla Model S.
The battery pack contains up to 7,104 small 18650 cells, divided into 16 large modules.
Each module has 6 groups of 74 cells connected in parallel, then combined in series to form a module with nearly 4.7 kWh of energy at 22.2 V.
When all 16 modules are connected, the Tesla battery pack reaches 75 kWh of energy, 360 V voltage, and 208 Ah capacity.
