Elon Musk's Tesla has officially entered the Indian market by launching its first showroom in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on Tuesday (July 15). The showroom is currently showcasing Tesla's Model Y, with prices starting from Rs 60 lakh (approximately $70,000). Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis attended the launch of Tesla showroom in Mumbai. "Tesla has arrived in the right city and right state," he said. Though the showroom has been officially launched, Tesla deliveries are expected to begin from September 2025.
